The difference between silicone wire and regular wire
The core differences between silicone wire and ordinary wire (such as PVC wire) are reflected in three aspects: material composition, temperature resistance, and application scenarios: silicone wire uses silicone rubber insulation material, with a temperature tolerance range of -60 ℃~200 ℃, suitable for high-temperature industrial environments; Ordinary wires often use PVC insulation layer, and the upper limit of working temperature is generally around 70 ℃, which is suitable for conventional civilian scenarios.
Material and structural differences
Insulation material: Silicone wires use silicone rubber as the insulation layer and sheath material, while ordinary wires often use polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyethylene (PE).
Conductor process: Both use copper conductors, but silicone wires generally use tin plated copper wires to enhance oxidation resistance, supplemented by glass fiber and silicone resin braided layers to improve mechanical strength.
